Senior Software Developer for Data Streaming Solutions (C# & Azure)

emagine is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer for a client in the pharmaceutical industry to design and implement data streaming solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software architecture, data ingestion, and Azure cloud services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze requirements and perform domain assessments for data streaming solutions.
  • Design and architect systems to gather data from devices.
  • Develop a scalable backend in C# for data ingestion and processing.
  • Implement data streaming to Azure Event Hubs/Event Grid using messaging protocols like MQTT.
  • Ensure the system follows security standards and performs thorough unit testing using TDD.
    • Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines, ensuring network security compliance.
Main Tasks:
  • Gather and evaluate requirements for device integration and data streaming.
  • Design, develop, and test systems using .Net, Azure Service Bus, and Event Grid.
  • Follow best practices in coding (TDD, SOLID, KISS) and system design for optimal performance.
  • Manage deployment and integration, minimizing disruptions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related fields (Master's preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on event streaming systems.
  • Proficiency in C#, Python, and Typescript.
  • Expertise with Azure Compute services (Event Grid, Event Hub, Service Bus).
  • Experience with Dev Ops, Agile workflows, and debugging complex systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven stakeholder management.
