As a member of the Road strategy team, you will help chart the course for the future growth and success of DSV Road. You will become an instrumental part of a growing team, responsible for the divisional strategy in DSV Road. You will play a key role in shaping and executing our strategy by working closely together with divisional management to drive progress towards our organic growth and M&A ambitions. Your tasks will be to ensure that the strategic direction is set and followed to drive business impact and value generation across DSV Road globally.

Your tasks include:

• Strategic development
  • Support on DSV Road Enterprise strategy development and execution.
  • Target-setting on strategic areas to drive things forward.
  • Follow up and report on progress in coordination with management and local business units.
• Work with business cases across DSV Road (Global/Regional/Local business cases)
  • Formulation of business cases for P&L execution together with relevant key stakeholders; Data-driven approach with associated targets for Operations and Commercial to be followed up upon.
  • Areas will be within: Strategic initiatives; operational and commercial, M&A, post-merger-integration work, property investments and larger CAPEX investments.
• Conduct Regional / Country business reviews
  • Facilitate analysis on country execution in terms of financial performance versus business plans.
  
  

An experienced strategist with a flair for people and numbers
We are looking for someone who challenge status quo, are comfortable with delivering results in unfamiliar situations and develop answers together with key stakeholders. You have a humble approach and collaborate effectively across teams and borders, while still having a structured hands-on approach. You are a person who wants to move the needle for the business by bringing your experience and unique perspective to the table. In this position you will get the opportunity to drive value generating activities with an international outlook.

We imagine that you have:

• A relevant university degree within for example, strategy, finance, business administration, engineering, or economics
• 2-5 years of experience from management consulting, investment banking, mergers & acquisitions, or a strategy role in the logistics industry
• Experience from transport, logistics and/or supply chain management is a plus but not a requirement
• Strong stakeholder management and collaborative skills, evidenced by a history of fostering robust relationships and driving alignment across diverse teams and organisational levels
• Project management skills with a structured, proactive and thorough approach to your work
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data-driven insights and Power Point for compelling storytelling
• Fluency in both written and oral English is essential, with proficiency in Danish considered a plus
