Technical package manager Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS)

A Snapshot of Your Day

You will lead and manage the substation design scope for onshore substations in Denmark.
That means you can be involved from the bidding process, all the way through the project execution until the warranty is concluded and the project is handed over on to service.
You will be the substation design coordination resource for sales opportunities and the substation design coordinator for project execution. Therefore, you can simultaneously work in sales opportunities and projects. Besides the sales and project teams, you will have a close collaboration with our sales department, procurement function as well as our international business unit.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Build the technical specifications for the Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS).
• Align the technical specifications with the factories.
• Implementation of Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) in substation layout together with our 3D team.
• Ensure planning of production and testing in alignment with project schedule
• Coordinate all the electro technical drawings related to the scope.
• Coordinate the technical procurement of materials related to the scope.
• Coordinate the civil design input with our civil partners.
• Give input to and plan installation and commissioning phase.
• Work proactively in close cooperation with overall project managers as well as other technical project managers and specialists.
• Execute detailed QA of suppliers’ projects work.

What You Bring

• Degree in electrical engineering, combined with 5+ years of experience in designing and engineering of substations.
• Broad knowledge within subsystems included in the onshore substations especially within Gas insulated switchgears.
• Detailed understanding of interfaces and design flow between the sub systems as well as capability to break down the design work in appropriate steps for planning purposes.
• Project and customer oriented combined with strong written and oral communication skills for co-working with technical as well as non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.
• Proven supplier leadership skills.
