Volunteer in project on comprehensive sex education in Peru

The Peruvian organization Kallpa is looking for volunteers to help their team in Ayacucho in a project working to get a model for comprehensive sexuality education in teachers' universities.
The volunteering opportunity is directed to students qualified in the field of development and health studies, international studies and communications, as well as to students in pedagogy and social work.

Tareas

  • Support the team of the project during the planning and implementation of the activities of the project, which includes public and political incidence for integral sexual education and initial teaching training.
  • Accompany teachers and students of higher education during the development of the sessions of integral sexual education in the classrooms.
  • Asesoría para la incorporation de la educación sexual integral en el syllabus (herramienta de planning y organización, que orienta tanto al docente como al estudiante en el processe de enseñanza-apprendizaje).
  • Aplicación de encuestas de línea de base intermedia del programa.
  • Develop short articles and videos of the key activities of the project for publication in the institutional social networks.
  • Promotion and diffusion of the safeguard policy.
  • Apoyar en el desarrollo de informes narrativos.
  • Otros que se quieran durante el processo de execución del proyecto.
Perfil de las personas voluntarias

  • Good oral and written communication skills in Spanish.
  • Capacity to plan and organize your work with responsibility.
  • Ingenio, flexibility y dispositivo a tomar initiativas.
  • Capacity to work in a multicultural environment.
Practical information

  • El voluntariado no es renumerado y debe asumir los expenses que genera su estadía en el Perú por su cuenta.
  • El equipo de Kallpa en Ayacucho will help you find accommodation close to the office.
  • The volunteer work will be supervised by the coordination of the AXIS project in Denmark and the executive director of Kallpa in Peru.
