Job Summary:
Run the line production within quality can. And solve the mechanical &quality issue in his area.
Duties, Task & responsibility:


Production

• Keep the machines run at high efficiency.
• Implement the daily PM.
• Check the materials Spec. and review results on QAS.
• Set up form rollers, plate registrations, over varnish, pressure plate on cylinders, spindle to blanket, ink fountains for ink flow, etc. and plans for and takes immediate correction action.
• Monitor ink feeding, printing, and feeding processes in order to maintain print quality and to detect malfunctions
• Change label and flow up the procedure by select and install printing plates, rollers, feed guides, type, dies, and cylinders in machines according to specifications, using hand tools.
• Monitors feeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary keeping control the quality of the product and run the machine defect free product.
• Report production issue to team leader, and participate in analyzing the problems using problem solving tools to solve the problems efficiently
• Efficient utilization of printing raw materials (ink material, printing plate, cleaning material) and record the usage format of this material and report these usage to team leader or the other relevant departments
• Work on solving machines printing issues.
• Record in area logbook his shift activities and problems.
• Record the daily form of inker usage
• cleaning ink fountains and the plates or cylinders
• Other duties as assigned

Safety

• Implement the safety guard check every shift.
• Report any near miss he found in area or in the plant.
• Commitment to use the PPE’s inside the plant.

Housekeeping

• Record in the housekeeping form.
• Keep the area clean all time.

Authorities:
Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a team leader
Standers of Performance (KPI’s)

• Commitment to safety rules.
• Keep the area run in high performance.
• ODM’s follow up and record in the consumption sheets

Chain of command:

• Report to TL.
• Cooperate with his colleges in his shift
• Cooperator with his colleague in his area

Job context:

• His tools ( hand tools-PPE’s – Area Computer – documents)
• He works on basis of 8 hrs. and may work extended hour on occasions when required.

Human Requirements (KSA):
Knowledge:

• Technical high school study. Printing study is preferred
• Computer skills.
• A skill to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. strong understanding of installing and adjusting printing plates,

Skills:

• Communication skills.
• Hard worker
• Patient
• Ability to read English
• Available to work shift rotation

Abilities:
Ability to work in noisy environmental
