Sr. Service Delivery Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Senior Service Delivery Specialist (Logistics/Customs) based in Cairo. A bachelor's degree of Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field with 5+ years of experience in Logistics, freight forwarding, Supply chain or a related field together with an excellent command of English & Arabic. Experience in managing multiple markets is a plus.
RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
You will be part of the Operations Customer Service team of "Philip Morris Misr" reporting to Manager Service Delivery Egypt and Levant.
More specifically you will:
- Act as an interface between the Markets and the vendors for all shipments
- Liaise between central functions (Fulfillment) and markets in addressing the customs clearance requirements and timeliness of documentation for the shipments
- Timely escalation of delayed shipments or documentation errors to the relevant parties
- Identify cost saving opportunities in the supply chain
- Monitor the recognition of financial shipments based on the incoterms and ensure meeting quarterly targets
- Monitor the regulatory changes and ensure implementation in timely manner
- Actively participate and lead in creating and deploying business continuity plans of the cluster
- Monitor and control demurrage and detention costs
- Conduct studies on the right levels of inventories at each of the hubs/DCs
- Lead reverse logistics and sustainability projects of the cluster
Requirements:
- BSc in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field
- MBA is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of the customs environment and regulations of Egypt
- At least 5 years experience in Logistics, freight forwarding, Supply chain or a related field
- Experience in managing multiple markets is preferred
