A new opportunity has arisen as Business Improvement Lead in Thruster Systems. In this role you will take the organization on a path of improvement, identifying opportunities and suggesting changes for the better. As a Business Improvement Lead you will have a cross-functional view to the end-to-end business processes to ensure leading-class performance. We are looking for a team player to lead our continuous improvement activities to ensure best ways of working.

A new opportunity has arisen as Business Improvement Lead in Thruster Systems. In this role you will take the organization on a path of improvement, identifying opportunities and suggesting changes for the better. As a Business Improvement Lead you will have a cross-functional view to the end-to-end business processes to ensure leading-class performance. We are looking for a team player to lead our continuous improvement activities to ensure best ways of working.
Key accountabilities
- Lead improvement projects: Identify improvement opportunities within business unit, facilitate implementation, and manage change.
- Coordinate improvement portfolio: Manage and oversee the business improvement plan, run reviews with project owners and management team to align and prioritize activities.
- Facilitate risk management: Develop and implement internal risk management process to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity within the business unit
- Define and drive continuous improvement initiatives: Drive in a culture of data driven decision making and exploit lean thinking and technology to streamline activity and improve efficiency
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics or other relevant field
- Experience in project/program management and/or process improvement (Lean Six sigma is considered an advantage)
- Ability to lead improvement projects and support the organization in continuous improvement activities
- Ability to prepare, lead, conduct and follow up on (cross-functional) workshops
- Good verbal and written English skills
- You are proactive, intellectually curious, and able to work independently in an ambiguous environment.
- You can inspire, encourage, and support others to apply their skills and effort to critical tasks and outcomes.
- You are organized, able to structure thinking and actions, think strategically, and have a clear practical sense of how to implement strategy.
- You have a 'can-do' attitude and can make things happen.
