We are seeing a Chief Engineer, Generic Process Engineer in Plant, and Solution Delivery Engineering—process and Diagrams team in Espoo.
In this position, you will be responsible for process engineering activities in our global plant delivery projects. This is a exellent opportunity to join our professional and easy-going team. The position is in Espoo, Finland, but we also offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
What you’ll do
Lead generic process engineering work in the project (as Chief engineer)
Manage subcontracted engineering work (as Chief engineer)
Work with design of plant P&I Diagrams and Process Flow Diagrams
Participate in the preparation of other process-related engineering deliverables
Manage interphases with other disciplines during project execution
Participate in developing Metso's Metal refining plants and engineering solutions
Who you are
A degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering (B.Eng., M.Eng.), studies in Plant Design are considered as an advantage
Any previous work experience in Process engineering is considered as advantage, for a Chief engineer role at least 4+ years of experience is expected)
A positive and can-do mindset, proactive approach to work, and excellent work ethic
Eagerness to learn more, develop and succeed
A customer-focused and innovative mindset and problem-solving skills
An ability to work as part of a team while also working independently on specific tasks
Good skills in MS Office tools and knowledge of CAD design tools such as Micro Station or Auto CAD is an advantage
Good communication skills in English and Finnish
