We are now looking for a Civil Section Manager to join our team!
Position information:
This vacancy is in Finland but our projects are located globally, so travelling (over 250 days if needed), language skills, cultural awareness, and experience in working with multicultural teams is a perquisite.
What will you be doing:
The Civil Section Manager is managing the civil works in our engine power generation project job site.
The work is done together with Site Management and in cooperation with other construction and commissioning disciplines for mechanical and electrical teams and with our contractors.
A successful candidate must have communication skills and solid track records for similar projects in an international environment.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Manage, lead and supervise the civil works at the site in collaboration with other stakeholders
- Maintain good customer relations and team spirit at site
- Ensure quality and cost efficiency of civil works
- Plan and follow up work progress of civil works at the site (Time management, Cost management, Risk management, Quality management)
- Manage subcontractors
Requirements:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
- Site work experience (working experience in similar tasks preferred)
- Good leadership and organizational skills
- Effective communication, team building and negotiation skills
- Civil works planning skills
- Willingness to work abroad - activities are performed abroad- over 250 days abroad annually if needed
- Ability to adjust to a wide range of conditions and cultural environments
- Project Management knowledge is an advantage
- Good command of English, both oral and written
- Other languages are seen as an advantage
