GLOBAL CATEGORY MANAGER, IT
As Lindström's new Global Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our IT supplier portfolio. You will be responsible for developing and executing our category procurement strategy, managing supplier relationships, and leading global sourcing projects. Your efforts will ensure that Lindström continues to be a leader in sustainable and efficient operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Developing and executing the category procurement strategy and supplier management framework
Managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners in cooperation with IT stakeholders
Overseeing supplier management, including agreements, KPIs, SLAs, standards, and processes
Leading global sourcing projects, including RFPs, supplier approvals, and creating transparency of potential sources of supply
Conducting periodic spend analysis and seeking volume consolidation opportunities
Leading contract and price negotiations
Benchmarking IT category related market development, and analyzing reports, data and summarizing findings
Providing training for employees working within the IT category/procurement

We are seeking an experienced professional with both technical and business expertise in the specified procurement category. A proactive, results-oriented approach with strong commercial acumen is essential for this role. The ability to manage targets and projects effectively in a matrix environment, along with the capacity to inspire others to achieve common goals, is vital for success.
Our ideal candidate has:

A university degree in a technical and/or commercial field
At least five years of experience in IT procurement
Detailed technical and business knowledge of the specified procurement category
A deep understanding of supplier markets and category items
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
An ability to build and maintain networks
Efficient project and time management skills
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
