Currently we are offering a very interesting position of Global Digitalization Manager in our Global Manufacturing Technology team. Job can be performed from any of Scanfil factory locations or offices in Finland, Vantaa or Oulu.
If you're the person we're looking for, your main responsibility would be to develop Scanfil's manufacturing digitalization technology and enhance the value chain to ensure long-term operational performance. This involves creating a vision for digitalizing manufacturing infrastructure and implementing strategies for manufacturing technology. The manager oversees global digitalization investments, offers technical support for factories, and coordinates projects and value-added services, including process development.
In this position, your tasks would be, e.g.:

• Leading the development of digitalization of the manufacturing infrastructure.
• Leading process improvements and best practice sharing within the Scanfil factory network.
• Introducing new technologies & tools and best practice sharing within Scanfil Group.
• Manage corporate SW selection and contracts.
• Tracking and improving utilization of IT tools.
• Leading people in digitalization transformation and convergence of manufacturing systems with IT solutions.
• Establish and benefit from technology and digitalization partnerships/cooperation with other companies and institutes.
• Ensure that the implemented technologies and machines meet the health and safety protection standards and contribute to growing employees’ safety awareness when using these.

To succeed in this position, you should have:

• suitable technical education (MSc, or BSc with 10+ years track record with related responsibilities);
• experience in suitable ERP and MES systems;
• ability to connect technology improvements with measurable performance improvements;
• understanding of the manufacturing processes crucial for helping factories develop a roadmap;
• experience in operating in multi-cultural environment good people skills are essential;
• track record of leading improvement projects and creating long term development visions.
