Laboratory technician, Pulp and Paper

The purpose of your job is to provide application support for the Technical Enzymes Business Team and support innovation process in close coordination with R&D, production and application experts.

The role
In your role as laboratory technician,
Your work will be related to testing enzymes in pulp and paper applications. You will mainly be responsible for a smooth lab operation, thus maintaining a safe laboratory environment. Laboratory work experience in the pulp and paper industry would be a strong benefit.

About you
You hold a technician degree as well as experience in a laboratory environment. You are both independent and able to work in a diverse team. We value the willingness to learn, the determination to achieve results, an established routine for laboratory practices, and the ability to understand the big picture to meet commercial priorities.
Some of the key qualifications we appreciate to have:

A focus on quality: You are precise, efficient, cooperative and flexible
Operate machinery for pulp and paper processing
Be flexible in moving between tasks using good time-management skills
Hands-on experience in handling of enzymes or chemicals, are clearly an asset
Good written and verbal communication skill in English. Finnish is an additional asset
