We are looking for a

People Flow Planning Expert

Who ensures comprehensive technical knowledge of people flow, selected technologies, trends, research focus areas, and relevant codes and standards to support our customers.

In this role you develop and promote KONE thought leadership in selected themes both internally and externally. While also using your expertise is in people flow planning and KONE analysis tools to provide support in complex customer projects.

Your area of responsibility also includes knowledge of advanced people flow solutions such as destination control systems etc., and technology management for selected technologies. In addition, you are part of competence development within KONE by providing training and spreading insights of people flows in buildings.

Key responsibilities

Customer relationship management:

• Supports the Salesperson by analyzing customers’ technical needs and develops proposals outlining how KONE’s products and services can provide clear solutions to meet these needs.
  

People flow analysis support in the Customer process:

• Provides people flow analysis according to customer specifications and/or a proposed solution in most complex projects.
  
• Develops and delivers sales presentations for customers who are of strategic importance.
  
• Conducts visits to existing buildings, collects people flow data and proposes solutions to the observed people flow challenges.
  

Develop capabilities:

• Gather, document, and share knowledge either internally or in publications such as academic journals or conference proceedings.
  
• Prepare and participate in developing training material.
  

Requirements

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering or other relevant field or equivalent knowledge
  
• Min 7 years of People flow planning experience or excellent record of accomplishment of successful People flow planning in complex customer projects and solutions that meet customer expectations, experience in project management
  
• Analytics and using analysis tools in People flow planning
  
• Holistic knowledge of products and product technologies related to People flow planning
  
• Knowledge of norms and requirements that are applicable for each project
  
• Prior experience in people flow planning and related product technologies and a mindset to search for deeper technical knowledge
  
• Experience in mentoring, facilitating and coaching
  
• Research and development-oriented mindset with understanding related methodologies
  
• Knowledge of Lean and Agile methodologies, e.g., Scrum
  
• Ability to communicate and share knowledge and experience
  
• Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
  

This role will report to the Head of People Flow Planning.

The position is preferably located in Espoo or Hyvinkää, Finland, but location is negotiable.
