This position reports to

Customer Support Manager

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Warranties and Customer Support Engineer at ABB Oy, Service Supply Unit, Large Motors & Generators in Helsinki, Finland. In this role, you will work with customer projects and specific issues on a wide global rotating electric machine market. You will be covering specialist activities including the operative customer case issue resolution, customer communication and interaction with motors and generators factories. Warranties and Customer Support Engineer operates fluently in customer interface to maintain and promote both excellent customer service and local factory interests. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: •Leading the customer case resolution process to provide excellent customer service •Accountability for case-related problem solving and lessons learned •Building and maintaining relationships with industrial customers on a global market and with key internal stakeholders. Supporting motors and generators factories in collection and utilization of customer feedback •Contributing to development of local working methodologies and processes •Contributing to proactive Health, Safety, Environment and Integrity culture

Qualifications for the role

Experience in electric or other rotating machines
Experience in customer support and collaboration
Solution-focused, collaborative and target-oriented approach
Sense of ownership, urgency and demonstrated problem-solving skills
Good written and spoken communication skills, as well as working proficiency in written and spoken English and Finnish. Other language skills are considered an advantage
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering, business or another relevant field
