Your tasks :
As a Legal Intern at our Saa S legal tech company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the head of legal / Data Protection Officer (DPO). This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Contract Review and Updates: Updating contract templates and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

• Legal Research: Conducting comprehensive legal research on various topics, including data protection, contract law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.

• Legal Opinions: Assisting in the preparation of legal opinions on a variety of issues that affect the company’s operations and strategies. Analyzing legal documents and providing insights to support decision-making.

• Legal watch: Monitoring changes and developments in laws and regulations that impact the company’s operations globally. Providing timely updates to the legal team on relevant legal trends, case law, and regulatory changes. Assisting in the assessment of how these changes affect current and future business operation

• Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM): Utilizing the company’s CLM system to manage and track contracts throughout their lifecycle. Ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that contracts are properly archived.

• General Legal Support: Supporting the Head of legal with day-to-day tasks in various areas of laws (including IP, contract, privacy, compliance, etc) and special projects as required. Assist in developing, maintaining, and managing privacy policies, procedures. Participating in meetings and providing administrative support as needed.

Hard-skills :

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Law – M2.
• Proficiency in French and English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation.
• Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and synthesize information effectively.
