Role description :
Arcadis is looking for an experienced Consultant in the fields of corporate decarbonisation strategy and PPA-advisory to strengthen our Sustainable Operations and Socio Permitting Business Unit, preferably in our Munich and Berlin offices.
This role sits within our global business area Resilience. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Around the world, we’re feeling the effects climate change, rapid urbanization, loss of biodiversity. The rate at which we’re seeing large-scale, unforeseen events such as floods and wildfires, is becoming more frequent. Role accountabilities :
As Senior Consultant you'll support multidisciplinary and multinational projects focused on reaching our client’s decarbonisation/nett-zero targets. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide bespoke advisory services to a broad range of clients across multiple market sectors
• Work together with our global excellence centres to streamline and standardise processes, while maintaining a made-to-fit delivery approach.
• Assist in the integration and development PPA-advisory team within the framework of the existing SO/SP-Business unit.
• Support multi-disciplinary tender processes in the fields of corporate and industrial decarbonisation and/or decarbonisation of energy supply

Qualifications & Experience :

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a related subject
• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, preferably in fields related to decarbonisation strategy and/or green energy purchasing
• Initial experience in developing and maintaining a strong client network
• Experience in the management of relevant projects or programmes
• Fluency in the English language
• Proficiency in German is an advantage but not strictly necessary
