Group Investment Management (GIM) is responsible for managing the proprietary Munich Re and ERGO investment portfolio of around €240bn. Within GIM, overarching investment related tasks are consolidated in the Investment Monitoring & Operations department. The Business Strategy & Operations team focuses on business strategy, management and risk topics and strives to translate initiatives into scalable and sustainable solutions.


For the Business Strategy & Operations team, we are looking for a motivated Project Manager who will manage operative and product-focused projects in GIM as well as along the entire investment value chain of Munich Re Group.


YOUR JOB

• Leading organizational, as well as processual change projects and run initiatives across the entire investment value chain
• Ensuring effective project management (e.g., coordinating stakeholders, moderating workshops, preparing presentations/ decision proposals for senior mgmt.)
• Acting as point of contact for New Products and manage the New Product Process (NPP) across the entire investment value chain.
• Ensuring the ongoing New Product Administration (i.e., Pre-Assessment, Scoring and Committee Presentation) as well as New Product Coordination (Implementation and Monitoring)
• Driving further the implementation of New Product relevant topics and processes.

YOUR PROFILE

• Above-average completed academic education
• Professional experience in similar function, ideally in the reinsurance or financial industry (preferable investment/ asset management)
• Initial experience in project management and in leading companywide initiatives
• Committed team player with a solid foundation of analytical and conceptual skills combined with a can-do attitude and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Viable interpersonal skills and ability to perform excellent stakeholder management
• High flexibility, motivation and strong desire to create impact
• Very good command of English
• Confident use of Microsoft Office applications
