- We are snappi. A bank first of its kind in Greece; one that lives in your mobile phone. We offer products to cover the unmet financial needs of Gen Z and Millenials; end-to-end digital credit with offerings such as Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), payments and cards, all in a fair, simple, and fast way. We are looking for a BI Engineer who will be responsible for designing, building, and managing the data architecture, pipelines, and systems that enable data acquisition, storage, processing, and analysis within an organization.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations, using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to populate data warehouses or data marts.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
- Optimize and tune BI queries and data models for performance and efficiency.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across BI solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data dictionaries, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end users on BI tools and solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to deliver comprehensive BI solutions.
- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Computer Science or Electronics or equivalent work experience in the field of Data.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role (7+ preferred, 3-5 preferred for junior role).
- Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Shiny.
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, negotiation, presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen eye on detail.
- Ability in decision making, problem analysis and problem solving.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Problem solving attitude.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Passionate about agile software processes, data driven development, reliability, and experimentation and experience working in a collaborative Agile product team will be considered as extra assets.
- Banking Experience will be considered as an asset
- Fluent in English. Other languages a plus.
