We are looking to hire an accountant.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end process.
• Administer Expensify platform.
• Prepare analyses of expenditures (assets, IT expenditure)
• Perform reconciliations (bank statements, assets, bookkeeping ledgers) & resolve discrepancies.
• Document and archive transactions.
• Create journal entries.
• Prepare list of payments by verifying documentation.
• Develop short-term cash flow forecast for investment purposes.
• Liaise with external accountant
• Maintain Snappi's Accounting & Tax processes and controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Finance & Accounting
• Work experience as an Accountant 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of accounting procedures, practices and principles
• Advanced MS Excel skills (including Vlookups and pivot tables)
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Expertise with accounting software and data entry
