Continuous Improvement Manager

The Role:
We’re seeking a methodical and meticulous Continuous Improvement Manager to work in partnership with the Management Team and key business stakeholders to aid and improve operational performance with the development and implementation of best practice and the creation of processes and procedures to develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in at our recently opened manufacturing site in Schimatari.
This position will be responsible for inspecting the facility and workplace environment to identify any potential Health, Safety and Environmental risks, and perform risk assessments. Identify any hazards in the workplace and monitor the actions towards elimination, reduction or control.
In this role, you’ll contribute to new business initiatives, provide expertise and professional advice and give guidance to the management team on site improvements, drawing from your proven industry practice, methodologies and understanding of potential risks or dependencies. You’ll be responsible for managing the project budgets, reporting on status/progress and ensuring necessary actions to guarantee success. This will work hand in hand with monitoring the company's KPIs, guaranteeing their consistency with the company's definitions and leading the process of the monthly report on KPIs coordinating any required actions for improvement.
The Person:
· Experience in a similar role, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry

• Demonstrable experience of leading large projects from early stage through to completion, as well as keeping project on schedule
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical, root cause and problem-solving skills
• Good team player, ability to work with others and on your own initiative
• Excellent documentation / reporting skills
• Practiced in Lean methodologies with a Lean Certification through an accredited organization or equivalent

· Bachelor of Engineering, or related field.
· Good level of written and spoken English language.
· Strong Microsoft Office & Office 365 skills, particularly Excel & Power Point
