ICAP Executive Search , on behalf of our client, a prominent player in the infrastructure, construction, and renewable energy sectors with a strong presence in both local and international markets, is seeking to recruit a professional to ​​​​​​​join its Group Legal Department.

Corporate Lawyer - Ref. 5676/CL/ESS/GR

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Commercial, Corporate, Capital Markets, and Banking law. This position is crucial for assisting the organization with its strategic transactions and operations on both national and global levels, delivering expert legal advice, and ensuring adherence to regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Offer internal legal guidance on intricate legal and regulatory compliance issues.

Draft and negotiate a variety of legal transactions.

Provide legal counsel and assistance for transactions involving financial institutions, both within Greece and internationally.

Conduct legal reviews of financial contracts and loan agreements.

Monitor contract terms and progress.

Coordinate with external legal advisors and regulatory authorities.

Support the Group’s local and global projects and requests as part of the Corporate Legal Team.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law and an LL.M. specializing in commercial law areas (preferably Corporate, Capital Market, Finance, and Banking Law).

Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in the Banking sector or a law firm specializing in banking projects.

Proven experience in commercial law, company law, and capital markets/banking, especially in corporate governance and regulatory issues.

Experience in handling complex legal and regulatory compliance issues with significant financial impact.

Prior experience in renewable projects is highly desirable.

Fluency in English is required.
