RD Supply Planner (Ref. 5747/RDSP/ESS/GR)

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven young professional to further develop his/her career in a dynamic role with high career prospects as a member of the Group’s Logistics Department. The Supply Planner will be situated in the Group’s Head offices and be responsible for setting up and following the execution of the production planning at the Cement plants and ensuring its alignment with shipping schedule to meet customers’ demand.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely on day-to-day activities with exports, plants & logistics teams and external partners required to secure smooth and on time delivery of products

Prepare short/mid-term scenarios for stock evolution and maintain stock projections for different scenarios

Identify potential risks in meeting the projected demand and/or securing a smooth supply

Anticipate factors that might influence demand, such as seasonal demand, commercial priorities and projects and external environment events

Propose scheduling actions to maintain inventory levels for assigned products within targeted optimum levels

Follow up shipping plan execution

Collaborate with chartering/trading departments to secure on time deliveries

Maintain up to date dispatch status information for assigned products and regions Communicate accordingly to involved internal stakeholders and act as the single point of contact

Follow up the Inventory levels development and supply plan execution

Combine data from supply and demand plan, inventory and production reports to project stock evolution

Identify deviations and proactively highlight risks in executing the demand plan in a smooth and timely manner

Maintain KPI records and prepare performance reports (regular and adhoc) for the senior management.

Support project teams as needed in the areas of responsibility

Qualifications:
University degree in Engineering is a must

MSc in Supply Chain, Logistics or Management will be considered as an asset

2-3 years of experience in supply chain planning / logistics / within manufacturing / industrial environment

Exposure to international environment, shipping or exports operations will be considered as an asset

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Greek and English

Excellent use of Microsoft Office Suite

SAP Working knowledge & experience or other ERP system

Strong Know-how of supply chain processes principles, inventory management, production planning, cost and financial aspects of supply chain decisions

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Attention to detail and numerical skills

Strong communication skills & teamwork

Adaptability in changing conditions

Ability to work under pressure, manage ambiguity and decision making
