How you will support our mission
We are looking for a Supply Chain Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) system
- Analyze material requisition plans to maintain production schedule and optimize inventory level
- Issue purchase orders to suppliers for the procurement of materials
- Monitor open purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and addressing potential issues for timely resolution
- Adjust delivery timing of orders based on production schedule and inventory changes
- Provide rolling forecasts to suppliers for critical materials
- Resolve invoice discrepancies, returns, and quality issues with suppliers
- Update and maintain material master data, including minimum order quantities, lead times and safety stock levels
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms
- Collaborate with internal departments offering solutions and alternative supply options
- Monitor and analyze supplier delivery performance
- Support Quality and Procurement teams with supplier evaluation data or any requested information
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Generate and distribute regular procurement and inventory reports
- BSc degree in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Business Administration or Finance
- 2-3 years of working experience in a Procurement or Logistics department in Pharmaceutical company.
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
- Talent in negotiations and networking
- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
- Knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
- Ability in decision-making
- Ability to build and sustain vendor relationships
- High computer literacy (Excel, MS Office, Collaboration tools)
- Very strong communication skills (verbal and written) both in Greek and English
