General Insurance Manager

Main responsibilities
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with underwriting partners, both domestic and international, as well as with producers and clients
- Ensures the General Insurance team performs within management parameters, providing the highest level of service at all times
- Reviews and assesses current procedures to ensure they are effective and deliver the best results for clients and the business
- Gathers information for larger, more complex risks, evaluates client requirements, and prepares submissions for insurers
- BSc in Insurance Science, Economics, or a relevant field
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of a similar or related role
- Licensed Insurance Broker (certified by the Bo G)
- Excellent command of the English language; strong written and verbal skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
