ROLE FUNCTIONS

• The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for the short and long term planning and day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department in order to have a clean and well maintained property and assets.

• Manage the daily operations of the Housekeeping, ensuring maximum cleanliness and repair status throughout the Rooms and all Public Areas, coordinating with all necessary departments for support and compliance. Coordinate with Engineering department to maintain resort facilities, pools and gardens in good condition.
• Coordinate with Front Office Operations in order to ensure prompt delivery of rooms to arriving Guests and Guest satisfaction with cleanliness, maintenance of property and delivery of any housekeeping requests for individual, group or event Guests.
• Coordinate department’s activities with other departments to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
• Manage operating expenses to maximize costs while providing excellent guest services. Bear ultimate responsibility for monitoring consumption and ordering replacement of guest and cleaning supplies. Ensures minimum waist in all disposables and linen usage.
• Manage the selection, training and development of employees with an eye toward maximum employee satisfaction, guest satisfaction and productivity. Actively performs Performance Management and appraisals as a continuous process.
• Conduct constant inspections of the hotel to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Responsible to ensure that all team members have the appropriate resources to work
• Overall responsibility for handling complaints and full satisfaction

Requirements

• Relevant experience in luxury hospitality
• Degree in Hospitality or similar
• English language
