Chubb is looking for a Lead Software Engineer in Test to join our team. We are seeking a Testing Team Leader who will work together with the testing team to validate, verify and ensure Chubb software applications. The successful candidate will also help in the development, maintenance, and support of test automation frameworks.

We are seeking a Testing Team Leader who will work together with the testing team to validate, verify and ensure Chubb software applications. The successful candidate will also help in the development, maintenance, and support of test automation frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating testing activities
- Designing and reviewing test plans/test cycles/test cases for application releases
- Identifying and reporting software defects and issues to all stakeholders
- Coordinating and leading seniors and junior quality assurance engineers
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Continuously proposing solutions to optimize the automation and manual testing process
- Mentoring and providing training to team members on test automation concepts and tools
- Identifying quality assurance needs inside a local QA chapter
- Ensure high quality and compliance to requirements throughout the software delivery cycle
- Providing technical guidance and support to quality assurance engineers
- Assessing performance evaluation and providing guides for professional development of the team
- Organizing one-on-one discussions, mid-year reviews, formal and informal feedback discussions with team members
- Reporting project results and performance evaluation outcome to upper management

- At least 7+ years of relevant experience in IT industry and Testing
- At least 3+ years working as Test Team Lead
- Knowledge of programming language principles like Java, Typescript, Javascript, Python etc
- Relevant experience in automated testing for UI, API, Performance, Security, Mobile
- Experience in working with UI testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar
- Experience in working with API testing tools like Rest Assured, Postman, Soap UI or similar
- Experience in working with Performance testing tools like JMeter, Load Runner or similar
- Experience with test management tools like Jira, Synapse RT, XRay, Test Rail or similar
- Experience with CI/CD like Jenkins, Git Hub actions or similar
- Experience with databases like MSSQL, SQL, DB2 or similar
- Strong test analysis and problem-solving skills
- Strong communications skills with the ability to cooperate with both executives and technical staff in Greek and English
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
- Hands-on experience in STLC
- Mentoring and coaching QA teammates, share your knowledge with them
- Ability to multitask working on multiple projects, across different applications
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or higher is mandatory
