Accountant / Assistant Accountant (Charity, NGO)- with CPA

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and prepare financial reports for several units.
- Enter annual budgets into the accounting system at the start of each financial year.
- Liaise with finance personnel across different regions to manage financial affairs.
- Update the accounting system monthly with expense and donation reports and conduct internal control checks.
- Communicate regularly with bursars regarding financial matters and provide necessary reports.
- Prepare and input accounting and payment vouchers into the accounting system.
- Assist in preparing the monthly MPF contribution list and the yearly employer's return of employees' remuneration.
- Support the finance team with the implementation of new accounting systems and custom report design.
- Complete the annual renewal form for the Employees' Compensation Policy.
- Assist with financial reports and analysis when requested.
- Licensed CPA in Hong Kong.
- Extensive experience in bookkeeping for both local and international entities, including currency conversions and an understanding of overseas working environments.
- Full-time availability, 5 days a week.
- Exceptional attention to detail and proven experience in maintaining accurate records.
- Previous experience and/or a strong interest in NGO operations and accounting.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Cantonese.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month
