Our Client is looking for a high calibre to join their team.

Requirement:
i. (1) have a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent; or

(2) be a registered student of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Qualification Programme (QP) and have completed the Associate Level of QP, or equivalent;

ii. have at least two (2) years working experience in auditing or insolvency;

iii. possess good oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English, with Level 2 or above in both Chinese and English Language of the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent*;

iv. have strong ability to work independently in an organized manner with good analytical and communication skills; and

v. be proficient in computer operations and conversant with computer software including Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Power Point and MS Excel.

(* “Grade E” in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE held before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 2” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.)

Duties:
(1) to perform checking of accounts submitted by outside liquidators and/or outside trustees under Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance and Bankruptcy Ordinance;

(2) to assist officers in compiling the audit manual and/or any other guidelines relating to the checking of accounts in a concise and structured manner;

(3) to organize regular briefing sessions to outside liquidators or outside trustees; and

(4) to perform other ad-hoc duties relating to the audit and examination/review of accounts under Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance and Bankruptcy Ordinance.
