Assistant Manager – Business & Compliance Department

We are looking for high calibre and passionate individuals to join us to undertake this transformation initiative that is leading the MPF ecosystem to a new era and is creating a positive impact on the working population of Hong Kong.
Key Accountabilities
Working with a major third party supplier and liaising with industry players on the delivery of the e MPF Platform;
Providing support in the ongoing review of contractual work products and deliverables in a partnership model;
Providing support in conducting discussion between trustees and a major third party supplier to reach consensus on the level of services, functionalities, operational processes, data framework, system and migration testing, transitional arrangement, etc. of e MPF Platform;
Providing support in formulating change management programmes to drive the adoption of digitalized and paperless MPF administration;
Working with a major third party supplier and liaising with different stakeholders (e.g. industry players, MPFA) on the enquiry and complaint cases relating to the e MPF Platform;
Performing information management and analysis as well as management reports preparation;
Providing support in developing, formulating and implementing policies, standards and rules relating to e MPF Platform; and
Performing other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualification
A recognized degree, or equivalent;
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in legal / regulatory compliance, retirement schemes / pensions, auditing or risk management, preferably gained from sizable or public organizations;
Preferably with knowledge in retirement schemes and associated market practices;
Commitment to serve in the public sector is a must and prior work experience in a financial regulator is an advantage;
Effective negotiator and communicator with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
Excellent interpersonal, leadership and organization skills, self-motivated and solutions oriented and able to work under pressure; and
Keen and willing to work in the agile start-up style environment with all the flexibility that requires and level of change involved.
Remuneration Package
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience. The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. A competitive remuneration and benefits package including discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered.
