Associate Portfolio Manager (Private Markets)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the operations and investment activities of the Long-Term Growth Portfolio (“LTGP”) focusing on private equity and co-investments
• Conduct due diligence, analyse market dynamics and monitor investment trends to support deal sourcing, preparation of investment memorandum and execution for co-investments, direct investments and private equity funds
• Source, maintain and deepen investment relationship with counterparties
• Monitor global, regional, and local economic and financial market developments
• Perform all tasks according to internal guidelines and international best practices

Requirements

• University degree with good academic results in business, finance, economics or related fields
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with good financial modeling knowledge, preferably in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Co-investment experience in private equity a plus
• General knowledge of various private market asset classes
• High versatility and flexibility, and attention to detail
• Good logical and critical thinking with a sharp and analytical mind; good presentation, communication, and writing skills
• Good command of both English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
• A team player with good interpersonal skills
