Position Summary:
Automation Software Specialist to support Hong Kong and oversea automated parking, logistics AGV and automated warehouse system projects software related customer requirements analysis, documentation, design, testing and maintenance. We are committed to providing long-term career map for this role to support our local to global initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Software Function Requirements Management:
Communicate with overseas customers to accurately understand and document their requirements.

Translate customer requirements into UI prototypes, flowcharts, requirement specifications, and other documentation.

Deliver requirement documents to the software development team and collaborate on implementation, ensuring consistency and communication throughout the software development process.

Understand and analyze existing Java program structures and internal logic to optimize product functions.

Participate in software testing, including simulation and on-site testing, to improve product quality.

Track project progress to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software products.

Ensure the clarity and executability of requirement documents.

2. Maintenance of Existing Local Projects:
Provide maintenance services for software usage, including troubleshooting and technical support. This includes software troubleshooting and handling control hardware failures to ensure smooth project operation.

Provide customer training and guidance to ensure customers can proficiently use the software products.

Qualifications:
1. Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

At least 1 year of software development experience, with a preference for candidates with Java development experience.

Ability to evaluate software design concepts and implementation complexity based on customer needs.

Proficient in software product management processes, including requirements gathering, analysis, prototyping, and writing requirement specifications.

Skilled in using UI/UX design tools (such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma) to create prototypes and flowcharts.

Knowledgeable about software testing processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing.

2. Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of AGV (Automated Guided Vehicles) and related industrial automation equipment is preferred.

Basic knowledge of electromechanical systems and industrial components, capable of troubleshooting and maintenance.

Fluent in English and good command of Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), able to communicate effectively with overseas customers and teams.

3. Personal Qualities:
Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to collaborate with team members from different backgrounds.

Strong customer service orientation, capable of meeting customer needs and providing high-quality service.

Good problem-solving skills, able to quickly identify and resolve issues during project development and maintenance.

Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing work environments
