Position Overview

Details of the Division and Team:
Deutsche Bank’s Asset Services Utility services all clients for Corporate Action events on the Hong Kong entity providing a full front to back service.

Your key responsibilities:

• Attend/run a daily escalation forum for the region reviewing all risk factors surrounding in-flight events. Post the call prepare and send minutes to risk and senior management.
  
• Process all Corporate Actions/Income on Bond Connect, RQFII, China B, and LGC positions.
  
• Know your event – monitor events coming in for any exceptions and short fused events.
  
• Exception processing and onshore forms for Corporate Action events.
  
• Provide instruction sign off on all mandatory with options / voluntary corporate action.
  
• Identify process improvements, analyse the impact that the changes bring, and provide training to the process line.
  
• Monitor Nostro and depot breaks, ensure clearance in line with CMR rules and regulations.
  
• Provide technical support to the process line on a daily basis.
  
• Provide escalation of any risk immediately, acting as the first point of contact for NOC within Hong Kong. Pass the full information to the relevant Hong Kong management contacts. Ensure any corrective measures fully mitigate any risk and are delivered timely.
  
• Ensure all incident reports are submitted in accordance with the Service Level Document
  
• Provide MI where possible/if requested.
  

Your skills and experience:

• 5+ years’ experience in Asset Services, must have covered APAC market previously.
  
• Product knowledge: All products
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills
  
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and work as part of a team (including remote teams)
  
• High personal motivational levels
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
