Community Stage Manager - AIA Carnival (Contract Role)

About the AIA Carnival: The AIA Carnival is one of the most anticipated and celebrated annual events in Hong Kong, offering a unique combination of entertainment, culture, and culinary experiences. As a Community Stage Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of AIA Carnival by managing and coordination with various community in the event.
Role Overview: The AIA Carnival is seeking a Community Stage Manager to join our dynamic team and run our famous Community Stage. The ideal candidate will manage community groups and bookings, coordinate with the stage technician team, and oversee the stage management team to ensure seamless event operations. This is a full time short term position from November 2024 - February 2025.
Contract Duration: November 2024 - February 2025
Key Responsibilities:
-Manage and coordinate community groups involved in the event.
-Liaise with the stage AVL team to ensure technical requirements are met.
-Report daily, weekly, and monthly to the Community Director.
-Oversee and manage the stage management team.
-Ensure all stage activities run smoothly and on schedule.
-Take initiative and proactively solve problems as they arise.
Requirements:
-Proven experience in managing busy events.
-Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
-Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a bonus).
-Ability to work well in a team and take initiative.
-Flexible and adaptable to the fast-paced event environment.
