Executive Officer I/Executive Officer II

Duties
The appointee will have the following major responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute strategies and organise activities for career development for a range of taught Master’s programmes;
  • Work closely with students and alumni to understand their career development needs, and collect feedback from students to assess the effectiveness of career services;
  • Provide a range of career workshops and professional development opportunities to students, including student advising and career consultations, organising company information sessions, leadership talks, and seeking job opportunities;
  • Liaise with and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as corporations, governmental and professional organisations, and advisors;
  • Monitor and report on graduate employment rates and career progression to track graduate outcomes; and
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
The appointee will be required to work outside normal office hours during weekends, and visit external stakeholders and engage with HR practitioners.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree, with at least 7 years’ relevant career advisory experience, preferably gained in higher education or talent recruitment sector;
  • Good understanding and relevant work experience about Mainland China market;
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
  • With excellent capability in strategic thinking, innovative and effective organisational skills in initiating and executing plan to deliver expected quality outputs;
  • Experience in coordinating and managing events, such as career fairs and employer engagement programmes, is valuable for creating impactful engagement opportunities;
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening, speaking, and empathising, are vital for effectively engaging with students, alumni, and external stakeholders; and
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications (including Word, Excel and Power Point).
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
