Finance Executive (equivalent to Accounts Clerk)

Job purpose:
The core purpose of this role is to perform daily accounting duties and ad-hoc tasks as described in key responsibilities as below. He or she will work closely with Assistant Finance Manager / Accounting Supervisor to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Finance Management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accounting functions in handling full set of accounts of service units;
  • Manage daily accounting duties including A/P, A/R, general ledger, accounts reconciliations;
  • Perform fee payments and operating expenses payment frequently;
  • Responsible for inter-companies and funds transfer and staff claim reimbursement;
  • Assist in donations handling to ensure the correctness and validity of donation receipts;
  • Assist in the treasury functions on interest yield and liquidity;
  • Assist in preparing accurate, reliable and timely financial data and reports for internal and external requirements;
  • Assist in the annual statutory audit and event audit by preparing audit schedules and reports; and
  • Provide ad-hoc supports to the Assistant Finance Manager / Accounting Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSE, including English and Chinese or equivalent qualification with LCCI Level 2 in Accounting or above
  • Minimum 1 year relevant working experience
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and accounting software (Epicor preferred)
  • Good interpersonal, communication skills and detail oriented
  • Strong commitment
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Fresh Graduate will also be considered

Contract Period:
2-years (renewable)
