Human Resources Assistant (Part Time)

Our future success depends on the diverse talent and performance of dedicated employees. We now call for applications to fill this government subvented position which will be financially supported by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department . The successful candidate will be appointed substantively to the post of Human Resources Assistant. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager and a delegated supervisor, the appointee will be responsible for the following:
Job Descriptions
  • Provide HR administrative support after new staff appointment and staff departure, such as reference check, on and off boarding procedures, employee profile and staff record
  • Maintain proper filing and ensure data integrity
  • Assist HR functions including job posting management, interview arrangements, benefit administration
  • Assists in other special HR projects and assignments when required
Qualifications and Experience
  • Post-secondary education with Grade E / Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including English (Syllabus B) and Chinese in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE); or Level 2 or above in five subjects including English and Chinese in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), or equivalent
  • Preferably with relevant HR post-qualification experience either as a generalist or in functional areas such as recruitment or employee data management
  • With knowledge of HK Employment Ordinance, MPF Ordinance and Payroll Taxation
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Good communication and strong numerical skills
  • Familiar with PC applications including MS Excel, Word and Chinese Word
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different levels of people
  • About 2 - 3 working days per week, the required number of working days will be subject to change
  • Students who are currently studying in the HR management or undergraduates are welcome to apply
The successful candidate will be offered on a contract term employment. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Our employee benefits include Employee Compensation Insurance to the right candidate.
