Roles and Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for Hong Kong and other offices in the Abacare Group for all IT related matters
Oversee day-to-day IT operations and provide application support across all internal business units with no disruption, including telephony and other forms of electronic communications
Carry out daily operational tasks, user administration, housekeeping and system monitoring to ensure the effective operation of IT Network & Infrastructure, software and Core Applications across the group
Carry out IT installations, implementations, configuration, updates as required
Maintain and control of all computer hardware and software inventory
Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and other technical documentations
Ensure all system and data have backups are in place and operating in an optimum environment; and conduct periodic system recovery tests
Manage physical, IT and data security in the group.
Keep up to date on all system and technology matters with the aim of keeping group IT current and with the view of future expansions.
Manage the annual IT budget
Serve as Project Lead in the development of in-house systems as required
Coordinate with vendors on hardware and software purchase/maintenance, project implementation
Provide technical assistance and support for users on matters related to computer systems, software and hardware, and follow-up with users to ensure the issue has been resolved.
Provide basic training to end user where required.
Any other matters as required by the CEO and other designated IT in-charge.
Qualifications and requirements
Minimum diploma in an IT discipline and above
Ideally 2-3 years of working experience in an IT environment
Hands-on experience in installation/configuration of Linux/Ubuntu
Sound knowledge and experience in Active Directory
Has knowledge and/or experience in
Has knowledge in troubleshotting basic computer and network issues
Virtual Machine using Linux
Windows Operating System (Server 2012)
Firewall Settings
Active Directory
Technical Support
MS365 Tenant
Can speak both Mandarin and English
Experience in installation / configuration of Linus / Ubuntu, software development is a MUST.
