- Performing molecular biology & NGS experiments, such as DNA extraction, library preparation, sequencing, bacterial culture, biochemical and molecular assays, etc;
- Supporting general lab operation, including procurement, quality check and assurance, and managing inventory and laboratory records, etc;
- Sample collection and processing (including COVID-19 samples).
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or above preferably in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related fields;
- Being experienced in the research laboratory, proficiency in microbiology and molecular biology techniques such as sample collection and preservation, microbial culture, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, sequencing, animal work, etc. will be advantageous;
- Having experience in handling mice experiments will be advantageous
- Be a team player with good motivation but able to work independently;
- Be able to work overtime.
