Manager (Development)

Job Posting Details

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Development), the appointee will manage and support fundraising initiatives assigned by the University and the Development Office. The appointee will (i) identify and cultivate prospective donors, develop suitable options for them, and solicit and manage their donations; (ii) plan and organize fundraising events and stewardship programs to engage donors and prospects; (iii) prepare fundraising proposals, meeting minutes and reports; and (iv) support fundraising initiatives led by the Director of Development and Alumni and the Assistant Director (Development).

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in corporate communication, marketing, or the education sector. They should have strong event management and communication skills, along with a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be creative, sociable, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating across teams. The appointee should also have strong writing skills in English and Chinese, and proficiency in Putonghua. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
