Job Description

Develop and implement quality assurance plans and standards for incoming materials, work-in-progress and final products.

Head the Quality Assurance Department, oversee its daily operations, prepare and control the departmental budget, and negotiate and follow up with suppliers on quality issues relating to incoming materials.

Coordinate with Production Department to set up measures / systems to facilitate the monitoring of quality standards and sharing of data.

Identify potential risks that may affect quality and recommend corresponding measure to mitigate these risks.

Prepare quality documentation and reports, and manage internal and external quality audits.

Drive continuous improvement in the operation and control of the quality assurance system (such as digitalization of data, standardization of process, etc.) in order to maximize the utilization of equipment and personnel.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing or related disciplines.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant fields of which 3 years at managerial level.

Strong leadership, communication and management skills.

Attention to details and strong problem solving abilities.

Hands-on experience in coaching and motivating employees an advantage.

Familiar with the relevant industry-specific regulations and standards (such as ISO9001, etc.).

Ability to use statistical methodology and techniques to analyse quality data and trends.

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua an advantage.

Competency in Microsoft Office.
