Responsibilities:
Identify and engage potential clients seeking cargo insurance coverage.
Develop and nurture a robust network of contacts in the shipping, logistics, and transportation sectors.
Keep accurate records of client interactions, insurance policies, and sales activities within a CRM system.
Achieve or surpass sales targets and revenue objectives set by the company.
Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company's offerings and broaden the client base.

Requirements:
Proven experience in sales, preferably as an insurance broker.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a history of exceeding targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
Capability to cultivate and maintain enduring customer relationships.
Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
Detail-oriented and well-organized, with strong time management capabilities.
Familiarity with shipping, logistics, and transportation processes is a plus.
Valid insurance broker license or a willingness to obtain one.
Professional certifications, such as IIQE, are advantageous.
