The e MPF Platform Company Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mandatory Provident Schemes Authority (MPFA) responsible for overseeing the design, development and operation of the e MPF Platform. The e MPF Platform is a major public utility which aims to standardize, streamline and automate the existing MPF scheme administration processes. It is the most significant reform of the MPF System since its introduction in December 2000.

We are looking for high calibre and passionate individuals to join us to undertake this transformation initiative that is leading the MPF ecosystem to a new era and is creating a positive impact on the working population of Hong Kong.

Key Accountabilities

Provide legal and administrative support to in-house legal counsel;

Review, draft, translate and assist in proofreading and editing of legal documents, providing legal updates and preparing in-house presentation;

Conduct legal research and compile information and prepare statistics, charts, graphs and other summaries to detail the findings;

Use legal software and databases to assist in-house legal counsel;

Liaise with other departments, external counsel and regulatory bodies on legal and regulatory matters; and

Maintain and organize filing system and database.

Skills and Qualification

Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Law or related disciplines from a recognised university;

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as paralegal, legal assistant in public, fintech or commercial organizations;

Proactive, meticulous, self-motivated, organized and able to work under pressure;

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;

Good legal research and organizational skills; and

Keen to work in a start-up environment with an agile mind-set.

Remuneration Package

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience. The initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. A competitive remuneration and benefits package including discretionary performance-linked variable pay, annual leave, medical, dental and life insurance coverage, and MPF will be offered.
