As a part-time Tech Instructor at BSD Education, you will have the exciting opportunity to guide students in developing real-world skills in coding, robotics, digital media, and entrepreneurship. Through our innovative curriculum and hands-on projects, you will help students bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
You will have the chance to teach digital skills and technology classes to G3-12 students all over APAC and North America. We are looking for engaging, passionate, and reliable educators to join us in teaching these classes.

• Facilitate project-based learning experiences for students in coding, robotics, and digital skills
• Deliver lessons from the BSD online platform, adapting and customizing content as needed
• Provide guidance and support to students as they tackle challenges and problem-solving activities
• Foster an inclusive and dynamic learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking and maintain collaborative classroom atmosphere
• Demonstrate proficiency and expertise in relevant technology areas, such as coding and robotics
• Attend professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Person we are looking for

• Strong proficiency and expertise in relevant technology areas, such as coding ( HTML/CSS/Java Script) and VEX robotics are preferable; experience is a plus
• Passion for technology and education, with a desire to inspire and empower students; experience working with students or teaching in an educational setting is a plus
• Comfortable leading classes in a school setting or virtually and able to facilitate interactive and engaging learning experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and build positive relationships with teachers and BSD Team
• Fluent in English; Cantonese speakers is a plus
• Organized, flexibility and adaptability to effectively plan and deliver lessons based on students' needs and interests
• Continuous learner mindset and willingness to participate in professional development opportunities
• Have at least 1 year of teaching experience is preferable; current ICT uni students are also welcome
• Must be in Hong Kong and available to teach on weekdays between 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm (HKT)

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $200.00 - $300.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 3 per week
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
