St. Stephen's Girls' College (SSGC), a leading Grant School for girls under the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui, is searching for a Principal due to the retirement of the incumbent. Since 1906, SSGC has provided young women with an exceptional 'whole person' education in an environment that encourages enquiry, curiosity and involvement. SSGC Education is characterized by enriched, broad-based educational programmes, vigorous academic standards, a stimulating and supportive learning environment, and a strong emphasis on the qualities of leadership, good citizenship, integrity and Christian values.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced and visionary educator, a strong leader with sound administrative abilities, an appreciation for the values and philosophy of the School, and outstanding interpersonal, problem-solving, teambuilding and communications skills. Excellent command of English, as well as complete fluency in Cantonese and high proficiency in Putonghua. The candidate will have to meet the Hong Kong Education Bureau requirements for secondary school principal. The new Principal would ideally be on board in the summer of 2025 but the start date can be discussed.
