well as a number of University-level research centres and Faculty-level research and professional development

Project Manager (Ref: 2400971)
Registry (Admissions, Registrations and Academic Planning Section)
The University is looking for a high calibre and self-motivated candidate to take up the position of Project Manager (at the rank of
Assistant Registrar) in Registry. Reporting to the Registrar and Senior Assistant Registrar, the appointee will be responsible for planning,
coordinating and supervising a number of administrative areas in the Registry, including (but not limited to) student admissions and
registration, strategic and academic planning, branding and programme promotion, analysing data to achieve strategic goals of the
University, committee work and organization of university-wide events. The appointee will lead a team to provide quality support for
implementation and daily operation of relevant work areas, and work closely with Faculties, Departments and other administrative units.
Applicants should have a recognized degree with preferably 12 or more years’ work experience in administration at tertiary institutions or
relevant public organizations. Experience in admissions and programme administration, branding and marketing, strategic and
organizational planning are preferred. Expertise in non-local admissions is a big plus. They should also be a highly independent
administrative leader with an excellent command of English and Chinese, and strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
as well as attributes of coping with ambiguity and change. Literacy in computer applications will be an advantage.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include the University’s Voluntary Contributions to MPF
Scheme or a contract-end lump sum payment (totaling up to 15% of the basic salary), leave, medical and dental benefits, and, where
applicable, housing benefits.
