Purchasing Manager (EMS Factory Experience Required) - PRC

Our client is a leading manufacturing and technology company focused on delivering innovative solutions and high-quality products. With a commitment to operational excellence and supply chain efficiency, they are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to join their team in Vietnam.
Position Overview:
The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement processes and manage supply chain operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services. This role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and expertise in purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that support company goals and objectives.
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and resolve any issues.
- Monitor market trends and conduct supplier evaluations to identify new sourcing opportunities and improve quality and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and finance teams to forecast material requirements and ensure timely deliveries.
- Analyze purchasing data and prepare reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier efficiency.
- Lead and mentor the purchasing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
