Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth literature research on cutting edge glass technologies, with a focus on forming technique, composition engineering and mechanical-optical behaviour studies.
Develop and implement experimental plans to explore and research new glass forming processes, study of glass behaviour under various conditions.
Collaborate with the RD manager and team members to design and execute experiments, analyse results, and provide recommendations for glass process.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports and research publications
Stay updated with the latest advancements and emerging trends in glass technologies
Contribute to the development of intellectual property and patent applications, where applicable.

Qualifications:
Ph D in Materials Science, Chemistry, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Strong knowledge and research experience in glass process, technologies and mechanical characterizations.
Demonstrated expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation
Proficiency in relevant software tools and modelling methods for glass forming and mechanical-optical properties.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present research findings effectively
Prior experience in RD roles, in industry or academic settings
