RESEARCH ASSOCIATE/ASSISTANT (STRATEGIC PLANNING AND INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH)

Required Qualifications:
(a) A degree, preferably in statistics, data science, psychology, education, or social science related disciplines.
(b) Proficiency in MS Office suite, statistical analytical tools (e.g., SPSS, R), and data visualisation tools (e.g., MS Power BI).
(c) Work experience in research support or in higher education institutions will be an advantage.
(d) Good writing skills in English and Chinese.
(e) Good communications, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Candidate with lower qualification or less experience may be considered for appointment at Assistant Level.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a two-year contract. Renewal of contract is subject to work performance and operational needs of the Academy. A gratuity payment equals up to 10% of the total basic salary earned during the contract period may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period. The amount of gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Academy’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, equals 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
