Senior Analyst or Analyst, Actuarial

Job Duties:
  • Report to the pricing actuary and support various duties related to pricing including:
Understand and carry out product development process
Understand product pricing framework and related regulatory requirements
Profit analysis on new initiatives such as commercial campaigns
User acceptance testing on all product related matters
  • Perform reinsurance analysis and negotiation, with particular focus on capital optimization
  • Conduct annual review on non-guaranteed elements and experience studies
  • Liaise on products matters internally with other departments such as investment, underwriting and operations
  • Exposure to other actuarial areas (Group financial reporting, RBC, IFRS 17, etc…) via rotation
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of working experiences in life insurance companies. Candidates with less experience / fresh graduate could be considered as Actuarial Analyst.
  • Good progress on actuarial examinations.
  • Strong technical and analytical skill
  • Good communication skill
  • Able to deliver work independently and work under pressure
  • Experience with Excel VBA is an advantage.
