New Industrialisation Division

NID focuses on developing and implementing new industrialization strategies. New industrialization is an industrial initiative that involves using innovation, advanced production technologies, smartification and gamification technologies to transform traditional manufacturing industries into efficient and sustainable operations. NID supports enterprises to develop new emerging sectors for accelerating economic growth. The division included 4 aspects of Industry & Business Research, Industry 4.0+ & Advanced Industries Development & Industrial AI Application.

Hong Kong Industrial Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Centre

FLAIR is focus on the research and development (R&D) of industrial AI and Robotics as well as the technology transformation, promoting new industrialisation and developing Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology centre. FLAIR aims to engender synergy and achieve a clustering effect by enhancing the collaborations with top-notch local, Mainland and overseas research institutions in R&D; actively approach industries for consultation and solicit their involvement in FLAIR’s work; ensure its industry orientation in addressing major R&D problems encountered by the industries in AI adoption.

GID focuses on promoting sustainable living practices and driving innovation in the field of environmental sustainability. RAD is dedicated to the research and development of cutting-edge technologies in robotics and artificial intelligence (AI). The division encompasses three key areas: Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation, Innovative Artificial Intelligence, and Innovative Robotics Solutions.

TFD is responsible for overseeing the funding of various technology-related projects and initiatives. This includes managing the Recycling Fund, CM Development Fund, Cleaner Production Partnership Programme, and BUD Fund.

BOU is responsible for improving the overall performance of the Funding Scheme Branch, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of existing operations through process improvement initiatives and Quality Management. The team will also be responsible to explore new business opportunity for the Branch through digitalisation and marketing promotion.

CDD is responsible for managing the organisation's growth and expansion strategies. The division comprises 3 key functions, they are Multimedia and Productions, Corporate Communications and Corporate Marketing

Compliance and Internal Audit Division

CIA is responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies. This division works to develop and implement internal policies and procedures that promote ethical behavior and prevent illegal or unethical activities. CIA also conducts regular audits and investigations to identify and address any potential compliance issues. By maintaining a strong compliance program, CIA also helps to protect the company's reputation, reduce risk, and ensure that the organization operates in a responsible and ethical manner.

FSD provides secretariat services for funding schemes such as Technology Voucher Programme, Patent Application Grant, and Smart Traffic Fund. It plays a crucial role in implementing and promoting the schemes, processing funding applications, and providing support and guidance for potential applicants.
